Best Days - Martha Munizzi

YES!!!! Another album from one of my favorite gospelly singers. Since most people know I do not listen to much gospel music, I can cut right to the chase and tell you which songs I personally love!  This album sounds like a typical album you would hear from Martha Munizzi. The only thing is I was expecting more praise songs or at least upbeat songs. I love that her daughters are featured on here! I love it when a family worships together! My Favorite song from the album is I'm Gonna Win (Glorious 2.0). If you couldn't tell it is a remixed version of Glorious. It features a new song but ties into the original closer to the end with the chorus " I was created to make your praise Glorious."The next best song is Fight For Me. I can't give you any specifics. I just like the upbeat nature of the song and the mix with the right words. There is a radio edit for this song, that I heard on Sirius XM. The declaration song and exhortation were really good. I like the intro a

Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition - Maverick City Music

There are two parts to this Maverick City Album the worship part and the studio part. I personally do not really like the studio part except the song with Koryn Hawthorne and the Intro with Lecrae.   Although Maverick City claims this to be a gospel album, the worship portion stays true to the traditional Maverick City sound with a slight African Style in a few songs.  My favorite song from this album is either Freedom Looks Good on You or Son Of Suffering. I like Mighty One and Breathe, I just feel those are overly played because of who is in it.  Freedom Looks Good on You is one of the two new songs featuring Israel Houghton that I liked. I like this song because it sounds a little African and it is a great song talking about how Jesus set us all free and how that changes the way we look. Son of Suffering! I love this song so much! I was actually looking forward to Aaron Moses singing it since he is the one who wrote but I don't know if he can come back from that. I love the voca

Hymn Of Heaven - Phil Wickham

This is probably the best Phil Wickham album I have ever heard. I like almost all the songs. The only critic I have is the order. I feel like the praisey songs are just all over the place and not in praise to transition to worship. I made a playlist with them in what I feel should have been the order. I will start with the songs he wrote with various people at Bethel Music. The most notable partnership is that with Brian Johnson, who wrote 6 of the 13 songs with Phil Wickham on this album and wrote Christ is Risen and Living Hope with him (these songs appeared on both Phil's Album Living Hope and Bethel's Album Victory). The songs written with these two include Battle Belongs, God Of Revival, the spontaneous song, His Hame is Jesus, Where I'm Standing Now, and the titular song Hymn of Heaven. Of these songs the only one that I heard Phil Wickham sing before Brian Johnson is Where I'm Standing Now. He sang that with the other writer Brandon Lake, who happens to be the

See The Light(Live) - The Belonging Co

Many know The  Belonging Co for their lineup of major CCM players such as Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Hope Darst, Mia Fields, and the most well-known are Kari Jobe and her husband Cody Carnes. The Belonging Co has taken a more bethely approach to the artistry by making it more of a collective that lets the artist still do their own things.  This album features many new songs with a couple of covers of previously recorded songs by some of their artists. The songs rerecorded include Christ be Magnified, Heaven Invade, Jesus Over Everything and etc. I love Every Victory with Danny Gokey!!! If you are a man and watched Promise Keepers 2020 then you know he sounds great both live and in the studio( okay no shade but  For King and Country please don't release any live albums). So many people were wanting him to do a live album, but this is the next best thing! He joined a worship collective. I loved the songs with Ben Cantelon, All My Delight and I Love You, Lord.  I like how Sarah R
