Brandon Lake!

 Brandon Lake is a very talented singer/songwriter/musician/worship leader. He recorded his first album in 2016 titled Closer and since then has just been climbing up. He went from a small town worship leader to a household name in 5 years. Most people have heard at least one of the songs he has co-written.

Let's start with his first very popular song titled " This Is a Move" by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, then He goes on to sing with Matt Redman a song he co-wrote titled "We Praise You" which he also sings with Bethel.  Currently, probably his most popular song is with Elevation Worship titled "Graves Into Gardens." That's, not all he also co-wrote Rattle!, My Testimony, and God Said Live! on that same album! We haven't even got to his popular song "Talking to Jesus" with Maverick City and Elevation or "Communion" also with Maverick City and Featuring Steffany Gretzinger.

He also has been on a Chris Tomlin song "I See You", a Phil Wickham song "Where I'm Standing Now", and a Cody Carnes song "Too Good To Not Believe". He is also getting ready to be on Elevation's next album singing Lion, Water is Wild, and Might Get Loud. And I think he is one of the "Valley Boys" that is a featured artist on the same album.  He also will be on Brooke Ligertwood's album Seven(Live) singing "Honey in the Rock" with her.  

He is very gifted and where his career is going. He probably will not have to worry about putting food on his table, lol. I just pray he stays integral and that he does not let the fame get to his head.

 Homecoming, when I first heard about this album I was thinking " That's an odd name for a worship album."  After listening to at least the first and last song ( and maybe a couple in the middle) the name makes total sense. I was super excited about this album, much more than the last album from Bethel Music titled "Revival's In The Air". Actually, most of the songs from that album are great songs they just took a while for me to realize it.  The first songs I will talk about are the song that you may have heard before. Phil Wickham & Bethel Music album?

 If you are a fan of modern worship music, then you probably have heard of Phil Wickham. Well for the last ten years his most popular songs have been writing collaborations with Bethel Music and Jesus Culture.     I had this idea that he calls over all these people he wrote with, and records an album titled "Phil Wickham: The Bethel Sessions (Live)". He calls his friends Jeremy Riddle, Chris Quilala, and  Kalley (who are no longer with Bethel Music, though Chris is still part of their affiliate church/group Jesus Culture) to come over to his church so they can record the album. Then he ask his good friend Brian Johnson to rally all the Bethel Music troops he wrote with (Brandon Lake, Cory Asbury, Zahriya Zachary, and himself) to come and record too! Inhale (Exhale) - MercyMe

 Two songs, that's it only two songs that actually did not make me want to fall asleep. Not trying to be rude or funny but is it sad I just realized that there are usually only 2 songs on a MercyMe album that do not make you tired. Not that is boring it just sounds like something I would use to put my little cousin to sleep.  If you listen to the radio and hear a MercyMe song, it is a good chance those would be the only songs you would like. It wasn't that memorable but it was peaceful so if you need noise to go to sleep this is it. I can't even say more than a paragraph and a half it is just simple. Well... Happy Listening !!! :-)
