Justin Bieber's "Gospel Themed" EP Freedom
Okay, first things first. Come Oooonnnn Justin really You tryna be cussing and praying in the same little song forreals. Sorry I had to get that out lol. Other than the fact that Justin Bieber clearly skipped James 3: 9-10 in his Bible "Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! "(James 3:9-10 NLT) Of course I know no one is perfect and God forgives sin. This does not change that the fruit of a Christian is a changed life. I can't really fuss at what he does at home but the least he could do is not cuss on his "Gospel Themed" EP. I am not even talking about his album Justice ( the CLEAN version is pretty good by the way) I am not even as upset about that.
So now that I got that out of the way. Honestly, I think it is a pretty good EP. It features someone who has been around a few years and has become popular with his group Maverick City Music... you know It's Chandler David Moore or commonly known as Chandler Moore(whose middle name was so appropriate). Chandler Moore was on half the songs on the EP. I loved all of them they all had a clear Christian message. I will have to write another post just about him another day.
Two of the song were completed with Churchome's and Justin Bieber's own Pastor, Judah Smith. Pastor Smith adds a little sermon at the end to encourage and make people think a little.
Also on the EP are Pink $weet, BEAM, Brandon Love, and Lauren Walters. Which because I listen mostly to Christian Music (Like 97%) I have never heard them before this.
Last but not least... TORI KELLY. I think I have said enough but if you know me of course I will still say more. Her distinctively anointed voice added the Tooray flavor all her fans love. I absolutely love Tori. No cussing on any of her albums. I will make another post about that (Christians cussing on their albums) because I can seriously go off about that.
So that is it. Happy Listening :-)
